Nature in the Highlands of Folgaria, Lavarone and Luserna
The landscape of Folgaria, Lavarone and Luserna is typical of the wide Alpine terraces, although the extension of meadows alternate with the deep gorges from which rise rocky peaks, everything blended into a succession of grazing lands, Alpine summer pastures, thick fir forests and tumbling streams. Perfectly placed within this green setting is the Lake of Lavarone, a small lake of very pure water frequently visited by Sigmund Freud, attracted there by the tales of the members of Vienna's upper bourgeoisie, who used to spend their vacations there. In these peaceful landscapes, it is simple and natural to find thousand opportunities to relax or to practice numerous sports.
